Is natural stone veneer real stone?
It’s cut from actual quarried stone (like limestone, granite, slate, or fieldstone), then sliced thinner so it’s lighter and easier to install than full-depth stone. Because it’s genuine stone, each piece has natural color variation, texture, and durability — no two pieces are exactly alike. It's cut thinner for our thin veneer stone which averages to about an inch to an inch and a half in depth and is lighter and beneficial for certain projects. We also offer it in a full-depth stone, which is three-to-five inches in thickness and is primarily used in exterior applications.
